M49 Mazzucchelli Bioacetate is a type of bio-based acetate material that offers several sustainability benefits. It is derived from renewable resources, such as plant-based materials, making it more environmentally friendly compared to conventional acetate derived from fossil fuels.
Bioacetate production reduces greenhouse gas emissions and contributes to a lower carbon footprint. Additionally, it can be biodegradable under certain conditions, which helps to minimise plastic waste and its impact on the environment. The adoption of M49 Mazzucchelli Bioacetate can be a step towards promoting a more sustainable and eco-friendly approach to various industries.
Lenses are supplied by Divel Italia’s Green Line Nylon Eco series of lenses, the leading supplier to leading producers of environmentally friendly fashion frames.
Made from 40% resins of plant origin, with the remainder being fossil - origin by-products.
All lenses in our inaugural collection are Divel Italia Green Line Nylon Eco have gradient tints. All lenses feature back surface anti reflection coatings to reduce excessive reflections into the eye allowing for comfortable viewing & clearer vision.
You'll find up to three numbers on glasses frames, and they stand for the lens width, bridge width, and temple length. All measurements are in mm. These numbers are written on the inside of one arm and may be separated by spaces or dashes. Often, a small square shape separates the lens width from the bridge width.
