JUNIOR APPAREL DESIGNER
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Sandbanks Brand design team This role would be based at our Poole HQ.
Here you will work collaboratively with our diverse creative team to help design considered and creative multi-product ranges for men and womenswear. From researching the latest trends and presenting concepts, up until the fitting of the garments you’ll work hard to ensure we produce outstanding and elevated ranges that reflect the brand values and aesthetics. We are looking for designer who has ideally worked within apparel design for few years having gained some previous experience with in the industry.
About the Role:
Research & contribute to the creation of seasonal collections collaboratively with the design team - including researching new trends/ competitors, in order to help create premium, commercial and well executed ranges for our multi product collections.
Create thorough and accurate Tech Packs working closely with our designer and product developer to ensure first samples are correct and fabrications/trim are innovative and elevated. Have the opportunity to travel both for inspirational and product development purposes.

Highly creative and enthusiastic designer with a real passion and drive for designing and developing great product which exceeds brands expectations. You’ll have great attention to detail, with the ability to work across a variety of product categories including knitwear and outerwear.
A great communicator capable of working well with other teams and building productive relationships. You’ll have strong commercial awareness and a detailed understanding of garment construction, fabrics and trends.
You’re adaptable and resilient to change and thrive on working in a fast paced environment with a real passion for product.
You’ll be skilled in producing designs and tech packs using Adobe creative suite from initial trend concepts to final tech packs.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Any Graphic design experience would also be an advantage
● Highly proficient in the Adobe creative suite
● Have a degree or equivalent in Fashion design or Textiles
● Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced fashion environment
